Cold process soap.

Cold process soap is a traditional method of soapmaking that involves blending oils (like olive, coconut, and) with sodium hydroxide (lye) and water to create a chemical reaction known as saponification. This process happens at room temperature, which is why it’s called "cold process." The soap mixture is poured into molds and left to cure for 4-6 weeks, allowing the soap to harden and develop its full moisturizing and cleansing properties.

Unlike commercial soaps that often contain synthetic detergents, cold process soap retains the natural glycerin produced during saponification, which helps to moisturize and soothe the skin. Each batch is handmade, making it customizable with a variety of essential oils, botanicals, and natural additives like clay or herbs.

The result is a gentle, long-lasting bar of soap that is free from harsh chemicals, fragrances, or artificial colors. It's perfect for all skin types, particularly sensitive skin, and can be used for everything from handwashing to body care. Plus, because it’s made from nourishing oils and natural ingredients, cold process soap is known for its ability to hydrate and protect the skin while providing a rich, creamy lather.
